Sinopsis "Next"

 

Cris Johnson ( Nicolas Cage ) can see the future state of the future . He could only see two minutes ahead of events that will happen . He worked as a magician in Las Vegas , money income earned by playing gambling , using his skills to win gambling. Gestures and all that he did in the gambling halls entice FBI agent Callie Ferris ( Julianne Moore ) , who already knows his ability and wants to stop terrorists from detonating a nuclear weapon to use assistance from Cris . Cris realizes that he is under surveillance , so he rushed out of the casino .

 

On the way out of the casino , he stops to deter robbery incident , but being chased by security agents .Using her ability to predict the actions pursuers , he avoided both and Las Vegas police . Ferris tracks Cris to his house , but he escaped after the predicted arrival . That night , the casino 's security chief was approached by two terrorists , interrogated about Johnson and then killed . The next day , cris go to a restaurant and then met with Liz Cooper ( Jessica Biel ) . These events can not be predicted by cris . Cris is not only able to see the future that will happen , but cris can also see what would happen if he did something. after their meeting , they went to a villa to stay .  

 

Then Ferris meet Liz to explain that cris is an occupation that is essential to help the FBI to capture the terrorist leader . Ferris incitement to fruition , cris finally be brought to FBI headquarters after cris save Ferris from logs falling from mountain. couldnot kill cris, then the terrorists capture Liz as a hostage . In custody , Cris tied to a chair with his eyes open and forced to watch television until he has predicted the future that can help the FBI . Expect him to see the reports of bombings, instead he envisions a broadcast from a few hours in the future in which Liz killed by a bomb while wheelchair bound as bait for Cris . Cris escapes from captivity and races to the parking garage where he would be killed . Pursuing Cris to the garage , Ferris promises to help save him for Cris will help stop the bomb , and make plans to pull out the teroris.Menggunakan ability , Cris helps the FBI track the terrorists to the port where they are located . 

 

 When they arrived , they were greeted with a number of gunshots , Cris is able to walk up to the terrorist leader and avoid being hit and shot , to see which direction will lead bullets and avoid them . After killing the terrorists and rescue Liz , they found that the bomb had been moved . bomb detonates at sea and completely destroy the port . It's very surprising, It turns out that all the events that still exist in the prediction cris . After predict this event, finally Cris receives cooperation with Ferris to kill terrorists .

 

 

Criticism :Many things beyond the limits of our ability shown in the film . Lacking many action scenes that happen . This film also quite stressful and a lot of showing de - javu .
